Vaccinations and Regular Health Examinations
We are committed to a healthy pet and happy owner relationship. A complete physical examination every year is most important for a pet’s health due to their accelerated aging. Seniors (5-7 yrs old) need health screens yearly to detect developing diseases related to age.
It is our firm belief that starting a kitten or puppy correctly is the germination of a lasting relationship between the pet owner and pet. We discuss why dogs and cats do the things they do and how to use this knowledge to enable the pet to adapt to the family.
Oral health in pets has become a very common concern for pet owners. This is why we have focused on providing up to date technical knowledge and surgical skills in dentistry and oral surgery.
A sound diet is vital to the health of your pet at each stage of its life. We discuss the dietary needs of your pet necessary for proper growth, performance, weight control, and as an aid in the treatment of diseases.
We provide emergency services for our clients 24 hours a day. However, if a patient may need overnight care, an emergency clinic will be recommended. Contact us at (336) 884-8848.
We provide an up-to-date surgical facility and equipment
Anesthesia is used for procedures with safety and pain management as a primary focus. All anesthetics and pain management are customized to the patient’s needs and health status. We have in-house laboratory equipment which provides immediate results for blood chemistry, hematology, serology, and parasite testing. Electrocardiogram (EKG) is available for the diagnosis of heart disease or for patient monitoring during anesthesia. Every anesthesia/surgery is monitored for blood pressure, oxygen, carbon dioxide, respiration rate and pulse rate to ensure the safest possible procedure.
Our fees reflect our expertise and the care our staff provides. Each client will receive an estimate for a proposed service. A deposit will be required when a pet is admitted to the hospital for treatment. All accounts are expected to be paid in full at the time of discharge, unless prior arrangements for payment have been made.
